Installing Fartscroll is easy:

• Chrome/Edge/Brave: Visit the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome"
• Firefox: Visit the Firefox Add-ons page and click "Add to Firefox"

After installation, click the Fartscroll icon in your browser toolbar to configure your settings.

Fartscroll monitors short-form video content on:

• TikTok
• YouTube Shorts
• Instagram Reels
• Reddit (video posts)
• Twitter/X (videos)
• Facebook Reels

You can enable or disable specific sites in the extension settings.

Fartscroll offers three modes:

• Manual: Set an exact number of videos before the fart triggers (e.g., every 10 videos)
• Roulette: Random surprise timing within a range (5-20 videos) - you never know when it's coming!
• AI Dynamic: Adapts to your behavior with Gentle, Moderate, or Aggressive intensity settings

When the fart triggers:

• Your webcam captures a 4-second reaction video
• The video is composited with Fartscroll branding and effects
• You can preview, download, or share the video instantly

Important: Video recording is optional and all processing happens locally on your device. We never see your videos.

Try these solutions:

• Check volume: Make sure your system and browser volume aren't muted
• Browser permissions: Some browsers block auto-playing audio. Click anywhere on the page first to enable audio
• Extension permissions: Right-click the Fartscroll icon and ensure it has permission for the current site
• Test sound: Use the "Test Sound" button in settings to verify audio works

Check these common issues:

• Camera permissions: Make sure your browser has permission to access your camera
• Other apps: Close other applications that might be using your webcam (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
• Browser settings: Go to browser Settings > Privacy > Camera and allow fartscroll.app
• HTTPS required: Camera access only works on secure (https://) pages

Try these steps:

• Refresh the page: Sometimes the extension needs a fresh page load
• Check settings: Make sure the specific site is enabled in Fartscroll settings
• Extension update: Make sure you have the latest version installed
• Site updates: Social media sites sometimes change their code. Report issues to us!

To remove Fartscroll:

• Chrome: Right-click the extension icon > "Remove from Chrome"
• Firefox: Menu > Add-ons > Extensions > Find Fartscroll > Remove
• Edge: Right-click the extension icon > "Remove from Microsoft Edge"

Your settings and local data will be deleted automatically.

• You're experiencing technical issues we can't resolve

No. We only count the number of videos you scroll past - we don't track:

• What videos you watch
• Your browsing history
• Any content from social media

100% on your device. Reaction videos are:

• Recorded locally by your browser
• Processed entirely on your computer
• Never uploaded to our servers
• Only shared if YOU choose to share them

We literally cannot see your videos - that's by design.

Fartscroll requests these permissions:

• Access to specific sites: To detect video scrolling on supported platforms
• Storage: To save your settings locally
• Notifications: For optional alerts (can be disabled)
• Camera (optional): Only for reaction video recording

We request the minimum permissions needed for functionality.
